A Three-day tournament is scheduled to attract golfers and tourists during Cambodia’s peak tourism season.

Set against the backdrop of Cambodia’s iconic Angkor Wat region, the Angkor Golf Resort offers world-class facilities, Phokeethra Country Club , Siem Reap and a scenic experience, ideal for both players and spectators.

- Shortgun Stroke play format designed for amateur golfers, with divisions for men and women.
- The Prime Minister will act as the honored guest at the awards ceremony, where they will present the top winners of both the men’s and women’s tournaments and participate in the gala dinner.

Date: 25 -28, April 2025
Location: Angkor Golf Resort & Phokeethra Country Club, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Tournament Format: Amateur stroke play over 18 holes, divided into men’s and women’s divisions, with Maximum of 176 participants.
Opening Ceremony: Inauguration led by the Minister of Tourism.
Competition Rounds: Three days of competitive play, featuring morning and afternoon sessions.
Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony: A celebratory conclusion, with awards for top players, exclusive networking, and cultural performances. Live band or artist performance to conclude the evening on a celebratory note.
Tournament Format
Format: Stroke Play
- The tournament will follow the Stroke Play format, where each player’s score is based on the total number of strokes taken to complete 18 holes each day. The player with the lowest cumulative score wins, ensuring fair and competitive play.
Course: 18 Holes
- Set on the scenic and challenging Angkor Golf Resort course, known for its world-class design and unique landscape.
Divisions:
Men’s and Women’s
- Open to both Men’s and Women’s divisions, encouraging participation across a broad amateur field.
Participants: Approximately 176 Amateur Players
- A balanced field of 176 amateur players from ASEAN countries and beyond, offering a high- level competition while promoting international sportsmanship and camaraderie.

25 April | OPENING CEREMONY Time: 4:00 PM •Ceremonial playoff featuring amateur golfers, presided over by the Minister of Tourism Cambodia. •Practice Rounds and Amateur Stroke Play Event → Amateur stroke play session allows sponsors and VIP guests to play with amateur golfers, creating networking and brand exposure opportunities. |
26 April | COMPETITION ROUND 1 •Morning Tee-Off: 8:00 AM •Afternoon Tee-Off: 1:00 PM •Highlights: The first official round of competition begins, with players competing in their respective divisions. CAMBODIA INTERNATIONAL GOLF SUMMIT DAY 1 •Time: 9:00 AM- 5PM •Opening Ceremony, Keynote Speech, Forums, Networking Luncheon & Roundtable Sessions. |
27 April | COMPETITION ROUND 2 •Morning Tee-Off: 8:00 AM •Afternoon Tee-Off: 1:00 PM •Highlights: Second round of competition, with leaderboard updates displayed for guests and media. Cultural Night Experience CAMBODIA INTERNATIONAL GOLF SUMMIT – DAY 2 •Time: 9:00 AM •Opening Remarks, Forums, Networking Luncheon & Closing Remarks and Ceremony. |
28 April | FINAL ROUND •Morning Tee-Off: 8:00 AM •The top players compete for the Final round of compatition, with the final scores determining the winners. AWARDS CEREMONY AND GALA DINNER •Time: 4:00 PM Highlights: The tournament concludes with an awards ceremony recognizing the top players, followed by an elegant Gala Dinner. •The evening includes a keynote address by special guests, entertainment, and Cambodian cuisine, creating an unforgettable experience. •Live band or artist performance to conclude the evening on a celebratory note. KEY HIGHLIGHTS •Cultural Experiences: Each evening features unique cultural displays, from traditional dance to local art, providing guests with a deeper appreciation of Cambodia’s heritage. •Networking Opportunities: Receptions and the participants amateur golfers event allow for meaningful interactions between players, sponsors, and international guests, fostering relationships that extend beyond the tournament |
